Manage music, sound effects or dialogues
Select
Click on category on left menu, and select the music you want to edit.
Create
To create a new music, click on the button
create sound
at the top of the menu. This will open a modal : - NameName of music
- CategoryThe category is only there to help you in the sorting of the musics
- ReplaceReplaces an existing music with the same name
- SubtitleDisplays text for in-game sounds in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Also adds arrows next to the sounds that show the general direction that the sound came from. It allows deaf people to not be at an extreme disadvantage, as well as to aid other players in knowing where sounds came from

Sounds
In this tab, you can add or remove as many sounds as you want for the same music
Minecraft randomly selects one of the added sounds. This means that you can for example choose several musics and the game will play one at random
Add
To add a new sound to the list, click on the

Click on sound you want to delete, and click on

- top leftClick on the rectangle to upload your audio file in.oggformat. No other format is allowed (Minecraft only allows this format).
- top rightDelete current sound
At the bottom, you will find all the options related to your sound :
- PreloadLoad the sound when loading the resource pack. If your sound is often played, it is recommended to preload it.
- StreamThe sound will be streamed from the file. It is recommended to enable this option if your sound exceeds about 5 seconds to make the game experience smoother.
In the game a maximum of 4 instances of the same sound is possible with this option, against a much higher number without.
- TypeType of sound
- soundName will be interpreted as the name of the file.
- eventName will be interpreted as the name of an event already defined in the game.
- Attenuation distanceSound reduction rate based on distance.
- PitchPitch of sound.
- VolumeVolume for playing sound.
- WeightThe probability that the music is selected if the music is in event.
Delete
Click on category on left menu, and select the music you want to edit. In general tab, click on
